"Deep space pearls" discovered by Herschel
Rome, Italy - In the constellation of the Southern Cross
ESA's (European Space Agency) space telescope Herschel has photographed a necklace of "Deep space pearls", formed by stars of any age, in a part of our galaxy so far considered cold an inactive.
