Lufthansa completes bmi takeover
Frankfurt, Germany - Buying shares currently held by SAS
With effect from 1 November 2009, Lufthansa-related UK holding company LHBD will take over a further 20% stake in British Midland (bmi). These shares are currently held by SAS. Consequently LHBD will hold 100% in bmi. Under the terms of the agreement LHBD will pay approximately GBP19 million (€20.7 million).
