Washington, USA - New programmes appear expensive and need time so that one resorts to upgrades for the air fleets already in service

Some analysts of the defence sector pointed out recently the relevance of a major component for the protection of coasts and the naval fleets for the NATO's members, that is to say the maritime patrolling aircraft which, as previously designed to face the Soviet submarines, must now prove able to perform several missions among which also the ones of search and rescue and attack by stand-off weapons....
