Pilatus cuts working hours and production rates
Stans, Switzerland - The measure will allow to avoid layoffs
Swiss manufacturer Pilatus has decided to cut working hours at its Stans (Switzerland) plant in order to slow down production rates of the Pilatus PC-12 turboprop aircraft. The decision has been taken to challenge economic difficulties caused by the crisis that is hitting the entire aviation sector. Recently the company received several cancellations of orders, especially for its PC-12NG aircraft....
