Lufthansa orders seven Airbus A-340/600
Frankfurt, Germany - The carrier would enlarge with the new aircraft its long-range fleet

The German flag carrier, Lufthansa, announced it signed a new deal with the Toulouse's industry for a further seven A-340/600 long-range planes. According to the agreement the aircraft would be delivered in 2006 and 2007 and would be powered by Rolls Royce Trent 500 engines. The planes will enlarge the carrier's capacity on long-route flights which the airline operates from both Frankfurt and Munich...
