Air France-KLM to cut about 3,000 jobs
Paris, France - The reduction is planned in the next two years
About 3,000 jobs will be cut in the next two years, a French-Dutch Group spokesman said during the announcement of the 9.4% drop in the month of March. According to the French daily "La Tribune", Air France will not renew fixed-term contracts and to not replace workers to retire, by avoiding forced lays off. The carrier has already cut 2,400 jobs in the exercise ended in March.
