Chicago's Midway Airport postpones its privatization

Chicago, USA - Another effect of the global crisis

The current global downturn continues to claim many victims. Chicago's Midway Airport must postpone its privatization process. The airport could be granted in lease for a period of 99 years and a value of 2.5 billion dollars. The first deadline for the bidders will be postponed from April 6th to May, to allow investors in New York, Boston and Canada to receive funds.
