Canadian helicopter crashes with 18 people on board
Saint John's, Canada - Strong wind caused the accident off the coast of Newfoundland. Rescue operations in progress
A Canadian helicopter directed to an oil platform crashed today in the Atlantic with 18 people on board, off the coast of Newfoundland. The cause seems to have been the strong wind. Two rescue helicopters and a coast guard ship, besides a Hercules military aircraft and a merchant ship, are already reaching the site of the accident, where two people and a raft have been seen.
