No frills airliner easyJet carried three million passengers in February 2009, down 6.8% compared with the same period last year. The load factor though increased in the month by 2.4% to 87%. The rolling 12-month total for passenger volumes increased 13.9% to 44.4 million from 39 million in February 2008. Load factor in the period increased 1.8% points to 85.1%.
