San Paolo, Brazil - By means of a public appointment of a commissioner to the administration of Varig's organization

The Government of Brazilia decided to intervene, by means of a public appointment of a commissioner to the administration of Varig's organization, in order to allow the carrier to keep flying: Carlos Wilson, Infraero's President annnounced. Wilson seems to have claimed that if Varig's controlling shareholders of the airline's employees will be removed the carrier's crisis will have a solution soon....
