US Airways would presumably need more cost cuts
New York, Usa - The vertex of the carrier declared to the bankruptcy court that the current restructuring plan may not be enough to pass muster with potential investors

US Airways will need presumably further cost cuts or an increase in revenue to obtain USD 250m which it needs in order to emerge from bankruptcy next year. The vertex of the carrier declared to the bankruptcy court that the current restructuring plan (see AVIONEWS), which includes a request to the court to cost cuts of USD 1bn value, may not be enough to pass muster with potential investors.
