Also Saudi women could fly airplanes, soon: Defence Minister, Prince Sultan ben Abdel Aziz announced it during the recent inauguration of the Jeddah Civil Aviation Academy. The measure is aimed in fact to replace female strangers of national airline Saudia's crew. The Academy would welcome female trainees as long as they conform to the Shariah (Muslim law): so they must come with their husband or brother...
