Moscow, Russia - Russia will send four transport helicopters

According to general Patrick Nash declarations issued yesterday in Brussels, Russia will send four transport helicopters and 120 personnel in EU peace mission "Eurofor" in Chad. Helicopters MI-8 MT, called MI-17 in the export version, from November will reinforce of 1/3 the aircraft deployed by EU in the area, in order to protect the refugees fleeing from the nearby region of Darfur (Sudan).
