All Nippon Airways, cancelled 47 flights
Tokyo, Japan - Due to a check-in system problem

All Nippon Airways Co., Japan's second-largest carrier, cancelled 47 domestic flights because of a malfunction of its automated check-in system. About 6,500 passengers were affected as of 4 p.m., the Tokyo-based airline said in a faxed statement. A further 176 flights were delayed by more than an hour, affecting some 28,900 passengers, All Nippon said.
