Tanker USAF: tender postponed until the presidential elections
Washington, USA - Announced by Robert Gates
The tender for the new Tanker destined to US Air Force has been postponed until the presidential elections on November 4th, the US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates reported, leaving to the new Government the responsibility to manage the difficult tender by 35 billion dollars. See AVIONEWS 1 and 2.
