JetBlue Airways to offer Internet services on-board its airplanes
New York, USA - Thanks to the purchase of Airfone
E-mail and messaging services will be offered aboard planes of JetBlue Airways. According to the press, this will be possible because the U.S. discount carrier agreed to buy Verizon Communications Inc.'s Airfone business. The purchase lets JetBlue expand an in-flight messaging service. JetBlue did not give a price for the deal.
