Air France-KLM following the Italian Council of Ministers yesterday

Rome, Italy - About the offer for Alitalia

"Air France-KLM announced that the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, following the Council of Ministers has expressed its supports to the transaction proposed by Air France-KLM and accepted by Alitalia's Board. Alitalia and Air France-KLM will open as from today discussions with the trade unions which will have to be concluded by the 31st of March, 2008".
