Chad, EU suspends military mission
N'Djamena , Chad - Evacuated foreigners keep on arriving in Paris
As government troops and rebel forces keep on clashing in Chad's capital N'Djamena, the EU countries have decided to suspend the military mission of support to the peacemaking process to bordering Sudan, started few days ago (see AVIONEWS). The 12 Austrian military, who had left with an air force transport, were flown back, and the already scheduled flight with 54 Irish special troops was cancelled....
