India, successful test for anti-ballistic missile

New Delhi , India - Experiment carried out in the Bay of Bengal

India is working at the development of a multi-layer Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) system. In the context of this military project, was conducted today a test for an Advanced Air Defence (AAD) missile, which succeeded in hitting its target, an Indian-made "Prithvi" missile. The experiment was carried out at the Chandipur military bases, the Eastern state of Orissa, looking onto the Bay of Bengal....
