"MAKS 2007": Motor Sich will built the engines for the Russian Mil Mi-2 helicopters

Zhukovski , Russia - Starting from December

Vyacheslav Boguslayev, Motor Sich CEO, during the Air Show "MAKS 2007", has announced starting from next December Russian Mil Mi-2 helicopters will power by Ukrainian engines. When asked whether also the Russian Ka-226 helicopters will be provided with Ukrainian engines, Boguslayev gave a negative answer, because the current engines are not able to power the Ka-226s.
