Positive balance for Avio in the first quarter of 2007
Rome, Italy - Profits of EUR 27,5 million
The change in ownership has been positive for Avio. The aerospace company, passed from Carlyle to Cinven (85%, the rest 15% is owned by Finmeccanica) has recorded in the first quarter of 2007 an increase of the proceeds (EUR 728,5 millions, +9%), helped by the positive trend of the civil engines (+25%). The profits have been of EUR 27,5 millions, compared with the deficit of 27,7 millions of 2006....
