EC sets to block the takeover bid of Ryanair for Aer Lingus
Brussels, Belgium - It should undermine the competition
The European Commission is reportedly set to block Ryanair's bid to take over Aer Lingus. Reports today say the commission has decided that the move would undermine competition and harm consumers. The decision is expected to be announced by July 4th. Ryanair has already accepted that its audacious bid was likely to be blocked by the competition watchdog.
