Charles Simonyi is back

Astana, Kazakhstan - "I crossed my fingers all the way, and I am very happy now"

Last Saturday, Charles Simonyi left the International Space Station (ISS) and landed in Kazakhstan as expected. After a two-week stay and a three-hour return journey (see AVIONEWS), the Microsoft's mogul finally touched the ground. "It’s good to be back, good to be back on Earth", he commented, adding: "I crossed my fingers all the way, and I am very happy now". All’s well that ends well.
