LUFTHANSA FEARS NEW PILOTS STRIKE
FRANKFURT, Lufthansa said the fear of new pilots strike is rising after pilots refused a new pay rise between 10 and 16.7 per cent. Cockpit demands a pay rise between 38 per cent and 78 per cent. Georg Fondern, Cockpit's spokesman, said that "on this basis we see absolutely no basis for negotiations".
