A new Weather Reconnaissance radar destined to the C-130J

Washington, USA - It will be employed to analyse the evolution of phenomena such as hurricanes just from within their eye

US Air Force Reserve would have recently started to test a new radar dedicated to Weather Reconnaissance, and mounted aboard a specific version of the Lockheed Martin C-130J Hercules. The major purpose is to make both the apparatus and the airplane able to go quite beyond the traditional mission procedure for the in flight analysis od data concerning relevant weather events, such as the case of hurricanes....
