A pilot of Delta Airlines would have been burnt to an eye retina due to a light ray which would have hit him on his face during the approaching procedure towards the Salt Lake City Airport, in Utah. The Boeing 737 was travelling from Dallas and it was at a 5 km distance far from the runway.
