US Airways appeals to the pilots: serve pay wage cuts

Washington, USA - It talks about a reduction of 19,5% : now it is the union turn

US Airways after the second resource in two years to the chapter 11 procedure (see news AVIONEWS) would have asked its employees a wage reduction of 19.5%, in order to succeed at least to maintain operating the own services. The seventh carrier for importance in the USA, would have in fact need of USD 1,9bn within 2009. The unions in the next days would have to gather in order to estimate the new airline...
