San Diego, USA - A failure at the break system would have prevented the pilot from performing an emergency manoeuvre

A F/A-18C Hornet of US Navy would have fallen in the sea on last Thursday after crossing during landing the runway border, without its pilot could resort to an emergency manoeuvre in order to stop the airplane, or rapidly perform a zoom up. The first problems would have occurred immediately after touching down, when the Hornet's pilot would have realized that the break system could not be controlled....
