Firefighting helicopter crashed in France

Ventiseri, France - It was performing coordinated operations jointly with Firemen on the ground in Corsica

A S-64 firefighting helicopter would have fallen headlong in Corsica this morning at about 08:50 am. The accident would have occurred nearby Ventiseri, a site involved since the last weekend by fires which have been faced by several French Civil Defence and Firemen units. The aircraft, employed by French Ministry of Interior, was operating in order to face a fire when it would have fallen and crashed...
