LUFTHANSA COCKPIT CREW PLANS STRIKE FOR TOMORROW

GERMANY, German Lufthansa's pilots union, Vereinigung Cockpit, has called out a strike for Wednesday March 28 after the negotiations on contract renewal came to a stalemate. Pilots ask for a 30% wage hike. The airline, on the other hand, defines "utopian" such request. Ground staff and cabin attendants have already reached an agreement, that includes a 3,5% pay boost, last Saturday.
